My name is Melanie Murray and I am a Native Texan and native to Denton County, having a lifelong, historical knowledge of North Texas real estate. 

 

Growing up in an air park community on the outskirts of Denton, I flew planes, rode motorcycles, horses and worked cattle throughout much of the farm and ranch lands that have since been developed. Those activities well prepared me for being a Boy Mom of two sons; three counting my husband. My family has happily resided within Argyle ISD since 2008.  

 

I bring strong communication and listening skills from my decade of experience as a pubic school classroom teacher and guidance counselor. I am a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and hold a Master’s of Education from Texas State in San Marcos.  

 

Outside of real estate, you will find me devoted to the community, volunteering my time as the Argyle Sporting Clays Team Coordinator, a former Argyle Archery coach, football mom, track mom, member of the Flower Mound Historical Committee, former Vice President and Board Member on the Argyle Education Foundation, and avid supporter of Border Collie Rescue and Rehabilitation of Texas. I love all things Texas and all things Argyle!
